Description
Silverback VKS Bullpup Bolt Action Silenced Airsoft Sniper Rifle – Black
There are sniper rifles that look familiar, and then there is the Silverback VKS. Inspired by the distinctive Russian VKS/Vykhlop concept, this spring-powered bullpup sniper rifle combines Silverback’s proven SRS mechanical architecture with a unique modern design and an enormous full-size suppressor that gives the VKS its unmistakable appearance.
This is the Black Silenced VKS, featuring Silverback’s full-size fiberglass suppressor, straight-pull bolt operation and a compact bullpup layout. Underneath the unusual exterior is a serious sniper platform, sharing key mechanical components with the SRS while adding a dedicated TDC hop-up system, 41cc usable air volume and a tool-less approach to maintenance.

- 63-Round Magazine: The dedicated double-stack VKS magazine provides plenty of ammunition for a sniper rifle without needing constant reloads.

The “Pro” Take
The VKS is a rifle for players who want something genuinely different. The bullpup configuration gives it a distinctive handling profile, while the huge suppressor completely changes the visual character of the rifle. It looks more like a specialist piece of equipment than another conventional bolt-action sniper.
More importantly, Silverback hasn’t relied on the unusual appearance alone. The VKS takes proven mechanical ideas from the SRS platform and combines them with the TAC-41-inspired TDC hop-up approach. That gives the VKS a strong foundation for players who want a precision-focused rifle that can also be developed and upgraded over time.
The straight-pull action is another major part of the experience. Once you get used to the movement, cycling the rifle becomes quick and natural, allowing you to remain behind the scope and get the rifle ready for the next shot without the traditional bolt-action movement.
Built Around Heavy BBs
The VKS has been designed with heavier ammunition in mind, making it particularly interesting for players who want to build a precision sniper setup around heavier BB weights. Silverback’s large 41cc usable air volume provides the air capacity needed to work effectively with heavier ammunition, while the adjustable TDC hop-up gives you the control required to tune the rifle to your chosen BB.
As with any sniper rifle, the ideal BB weight and hop-up setting will depend on the final rifle configuration, power level and site requirements. We recommend testing different quality BB weights and using the setup that provides the best consistency on your individual rifle.
UK Airsoft Use
The VKS is a serious-sized sniper rifle, despite its bullpup configuration, so it is worth considering your preferred playing environment when building your loadout. The bullpup layout keeps the action towards the rear of the rifle, helping make the overall package more manageable than its 1110mm overall length might suggest.
Power output can vary depending on the configuration, ammunition and regional specification. Always have the rifle correctly chronographed with the BB weight you intend to use and make sure it complies with the limits of your individual UK airsoft site.
The VKS does not include iron sights, so a suitable scope and Picatinny mounting solution will be required to complete the rifle for practical use.
Maintenance & Care
Silverback recommends regular cleaning and lubrication of the VKS’s steel components to help prevent corrosion. This is particularly important for areas such as the top cover, trigger guard, suppressor components, safety selector, buttplate base and bolt handle.
As with any precision spring sniper rifle, keeping the barrel clean, using good-quality BBs and maintaining the hop-up system will help you get the most consistent performance from the platform.
