Description
Low-Pressure Performance: Nimrod Light Performance Blue Gas 500ml
The Nimrod Light Performance Blue Gas 500ml is a low-pressure airsoft gas designed for players who need a gentler alternative to standard green gas. Ideal for warmer weather and compatible gas-powered replicas, it is particularly suited to many Gas Blow Back (GBB) pistols with plastic slides and models designed to operate using lower-pressure gas.
With a pressure of approximately 116 PSI at 20?C, Nimrod Blue Gas is the lowest-pressure option in the Nimrod Performance Gas range. Its reduced pressure helps minimise unnecessary stress on sensitive components, making it a popular choice for compatible lightweight pistols and replicas where a lower gas pressure is recommended.
Key Features
- Low-pressure formula: Approximately 116 PSI at 20?C for a gentler operating pressure.
- Ideal for warmer weather: Suitable for use in temperatures where gas pressure naturally increases.
- Plastic-slide compatibility: A suitable option for many GBB pistols with plastic slides, subject to manufacturer recommendations.
- Tokyo Marui compatibility: Suitable for compatible models that require lower-pressure gas.
- 500ml capacity: A convenient size for your airsoft kit and regular skirmish use.
- Reduced mechanical stress: Lower pressure can help reduce strain on compatible replicas compared with stronger gases.
Choosing the Right Airsoft Gas
Blue Gas is designed for replicas that benefit from lower gas pressure, particularly during warmer conditions. It is not generally recommended for gas blowback rifles, heavy metal-slide pistols or other replicas that require higher-pressure gas to cycle reliably. Always check the replica manufacturer’s recommendations before use.

GAS WARNING – PLEASE READ
Always use the gas recommended by your replica’s manufacturer. Gas pressure increases with temperature, and using unsuitable gas can cause damage to your airsoft replica or its internal components.
This product contains extremely flammable gas under pressure. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Do not expose the canister to temperatures above 50?C, puncture it or burn it, even when empty. Keep out of reach of children and use only in a well-ventilated area.
