Description
Modern Tactical Performance: WE F17 V2 Gas Blowback Pistol Tan
Add a modern, tactical sidearm to your loadout with the WE F17 V2 GBB Pistol in Tan. Inspired by contemporary military service pistols, the F17 V2 combines a full metal slide, a durable textured polymer frame and realistic gas blowback action in a practical, ergonomic design.
Powered by green gas and featuring an adjustable hop-up, semi-automatic firing and an accessory rail beneath the barrel, the WE F17 V2 is designed for players who want a versatile secondary replica for skirmishing. Its tan finish also makes it a natural match for desert-themed equipment, tan tactical gear and modern rifle setups.
Metal Slide and Textured Polymer Frame
The WE F17 V2 features a metal slide paired with a tough polymer frame, providing a balanced combination of durability and manageable weight. The tan finish gives the pistol a distinctive tactical appearance, while the textured grip helps maintain a secure hold during handling.
Detailed slide serrations provide useful purchase when operating the slide, while the front and rear sights support straightforward target alignment. The design is intended to feel familiar to players who prefer modern service-pistol ergonomics.
Realistic Gas Blowback Operation
The F17 V2 uses a gas blowback system that cycles the slide with each shot, providing a more realistic shooting experience than a non-blowback pistol. The moving slide also gives the pistol its characteristic recoil sensation during operation.
It operates in semi-automatic mode, allowing one shot per trigger pull, with a safety position for handling. Gas performance can vary with ambient temperature, gas pressure, BB weight and the condition of the pistol, so always check the manufacturer’s recommendations and your site’s muzzle energy limits.
Adjustable Hop-Up for BB Flight Control
The adjustable hop-up system applies backspin to the BB as it travels through the inner barrel. Correctly setting the hop-up helps control the BB’s flight path and can improve effective range and consistency.
Take time to tune the hop-up using quality 6mm BBs of a suitable weight. Make small adjustments and test the results safely, as the best setting depends on the ammunition and conditions in which you are using the pistol.
Under-Barrel Accessory Rail
The frame features a 20mm accessory rail for compatible pistol accessories, such as a suitable tactical torch or laser unit where permitted. This allows you to configure the F17 V2 around your loadout and preferred handling style.
The pistol also features an ambidextrous slide catch, providing access from either side. This is a useful design detail for players who prefer a more adaptable control layout.
Green Gas Operation with Optional CO2 Magazine
The WE F17 V2 is supplied with a gas magazine and is designed for green gas operation. A compatible CO2 magazine is available separately for players whose setup and conditions suit that option.
CO2 magazines are not included as standard. Before using an alternative magazine or gas type, confirm compatibility with the exact pistol version and follow WE’s operating recommendations. Gas pressure increases and decreases with temperature, so avoid using an unsuitable gas or operating the pistol outside its recommended conditions.

The BR Airsoft Pro Take
The WE F17 V2 is a strong option for players looking for a modern, tan gas blowback sidearm with a metal slide and useful accessory options. Its textured grip, adjustable hop-up and under-barrel rail give it the features expected from a practical skirmish pistol, while the blowback action adds to the shooting experience.
For a loadout built around tan equipment or a modern military-inspired rifle, the F17 V2 fits the look particularly well. As with any gas pistol, choosing the correct gas, maintaining the seals and keeping the hop-up clean are important for dependable operation.
UK Airsoft Use and Site Compatibility
The advertised FPS range is a guide only. Actual muzzle energy depends on gas type, temperature, BB weight and the condition of the pistol. Have the pistol chronographed using the BB weight required by your site, and confirm that its measured output is within the venue’s limits before use.
Airsoft replicas are subject to UK legal requirements. An appropriate defence may be required to purchase a realistic imitation firearm in its original colour. Check the applicable requirements before ordering, and always transport and store the pistol responsibly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the WE F17 V2 a gas blowback pistol?

What gas does the pistol use?
The pistol is designed for green gas operation. Always use gas suitable for the pistol and prevailing conditions, following the manufacturer’s recommendations.

A compatible CO2 magazine is available separately. Check that the magazine is specifically suitable for your F17 V2 and follow the manufacturer’s guidance before use.
How many BBs does the magazine hold?
The supplier specifies an 18-round magazine capacity for this version. Magazine specifications can vary, so check the supplied magazine if exact capacity is important.

The pistol has a 20mm under-barrel accessory rail for compatible accessories. Check the mounting dimensions of your chosen accessory before fitting it.
What is the advertised FPS?
